Dark Ranger is really a Marksman Hunter with "Death" attached to its abilities, the only difference would be incorporating Black Arrow, and maybe a few Sylvanas type abilities from Heroes of the Storm, other than that there isn't enough to build a full class or spec over it.its a cosmetic thing more than anything. Obviously there is not enough development resources for that. They can't even balance those that already exist. We don't need any more new classes, not in the middle of an expansion especially. Wth is this "tinker" nonsense flying around.

The only downside adding a Tinker class that I can think of is how to position it with the Engineering profession. I think it fits well with current Blizzard philosophy proven by Dragonflight, that adding a new class/race to the game doesn't add exponential complexity. For example using mechanical pets, transforming into a mecha iron man, using powerful bombs and tools to gain combat advantage.
